Support Montana Trout Unlimited! Join Tip of the Hat!

Montana Trout Unlimited’s Tip of the Hat fundraiser is back again for 2023! The idea is simple: fishing guides and outfitters across Montana pledge to donate their gratuity from one trip to further MTU’s mission: to conserve, protect, and restore our coldwater fisheries. We officially celebrate Tip of the Hat on June 27, 2023 but you can donate your tip from any day this season until July 15.

If you’re on the Missouri on June 27, join us after your guide day from 4pm – 7pm in parking lot at Joe’s in Craig for free food and refreshments.

If you’re a licensed Montana fishing guide who’d like to participate, talk to your outfitter and fill out our sign up form HERE. All participating guides who donate by July 15, 2023 will be entered to win a new pair of Grunden’s Boundary Zip Stockingfoot Waders courtesy of Grundens!
